Who is Lanternfly?

Lanternfly is a solo experimental music project based in New Jersey and Pennsylvania ringlead by Mary Prior which began in late-2023. In her three albums under the pseudonym, she's touched on ambient, drone, psychedelic folk, singer-songwriter, noise rock, and experimental rock sounds. From 2023-2024, Lanternfly was purple. Lanternfly is no longer bound by color constraints. Lanternfly is still making music and will release music until it no longer brings her joy (so never).
